As an independent, non-profit organization supported by membership dues and fund raising events, to promote further development and enhancements of the Great Lakes Fishery through educational programs to the community, support fisheries programs, ecological programs and other related programs within the Association and with other private and public clubs and government agencies.
To promote and assist in fishing programs for the handicapped through sponsoring fund raising events and other activities by the Association and in conjunction with other organizations and government agencies.
To make contributions to civic and charitable organizations for community development and their activities.
